Background

Ryan was born and raised in Porstmouth, Rhode Island. He received his Bachelors of Arts in 2000 from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. After college, Ryan worked for Morse & Gomez, P.A. as a legal assistant working on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. Ryan graduated from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2005. While attending Stetson, Ryan served as a Student Ambassador and a Research Assistant for the Dean of Student Life. He also worked as a law clerk for Callahan & Martinez, LLC where he worked on insurance defense and nursing home cases. Ryan spent his first year out of law school working for Burr & Smith, LLP, an employment law firm, where he worked on overtime and minimum wage cases under the Fair Labor Standards Act. In the summer of 2006, Ryan started working for Berkowitz & Sheridan Law Group where he gained experience in numerous areas of law such as Creditor Harassment, Criminal Law, and Family Law. Bust most notably, Ryan played a key part in helping to build the firm’s Bankruptcy practice since the major law change (BAPCPA) in 2005. Ryan is now primarily practicing Bankruptcy for Leavengood & Nash.
